My card for today's Technique Challenge, and it was a challenge. I had to cut a piece of specialty paper that I have been hoarding for over 5 years. I love this paper, but can't seem to find anything to use it for. The Fantastic Fan challenge was perfect!

Thank you all so much for your wonderful coments. The coiled gold handle on the fan, is just a little trinket I found in a box of buttons, etc. I was looking for a button to put at the base of the fan, but that little piece just seemed to belong there. I think in came in a "scoop" of buttons, medallions, etc that I got at Stampa Rosa years ago.

Oh that is gorgeous paper. I would hoard it, too. But it is just perfect for this challenge. You did the paper proud with this beautiful fan you made with it.
