Well, this is for today's color challenge, and due to extremely high paper usage and slow shipping, I had to sub most of it -- hope that's OK -- but I think the overall color scheme still goes along with today's challenge colors. In place of Tempting Turquoise, I used Cool Caribben paper and Taken with Teal ink. In place of Blush Blossom, I used Apricot Appeal. I did have scraps of Certainly Celery. So, do I hear the sirens yet?
Anyway, this is for my oldest son who turns 21 on Saturday, the 21st. He is temporarily living about 600 miles away doing an internship, and this is the 1st birthday he'll have without Mom and Dad. No problem for him, I'm sure, but ---
This is an interesting frame I got on sale at Wal-Mart. It's about an inch thick and that acrylic glass stays on with magnets -- see those little silver dots in the corners? So, because of this I couldn't put too many layers of paper underneath the glass because then the magnets wouldn't stick. So, the b/g papers are under the glass. The big, dream, day and 21 chipboard pieces are attached above the glass. Hope this all stays together and mails OK. It does seem relatively sturdy. Time will tell --
Thanks for looking! This was fun to do, but took me way too long -- you know how that goes!!!

Way cool and creative! Great mix of colors and patterns and the acrylic and magnets - wow! He's sure to love this! Sorry he's so far away - hope you both enjoy his birthday.

This is so great! I am sure he will love it! You have inspired me to pull out think big again! I think it has felt neglected! You, however, have been doing great things with it! Thanks for the inspiration!
