This is for CC80 using plums, artichoke and sahara sand. This is for the family of a mom at my kid's school who was only 45 and lost her battle with cancer. I have been sending her and the family cards every week or so to keep her spirits lifted. I may continue to do that just so they know they've not been forgotten. This is pale plum with plum on top. Artichoke stems and leaves. Some of the leaves I stamped off once so they'd appear lighter. Pale plum was sponged on the white part of the cs. Sahara was sponged then I did dtp around the edges. Floral bg was stamped in plum and pale plulm. The butterfly is vellum stamped and watercolored then gel pen with silver added. The butterfly was folded in the middle so it would stand up and look more real. The wording is on vellum also. I wanted it to blend in with the flowers and not be the focus of the card.
