Here is another card for the challenge ... this one is a little closer to the sketch this week!
I am having so much fun with the new Paisley stamp and this Daisy D's patterned paper! And I am trying to not hoard my hardware ... so I was very liberal with the hardware on this card!
The sentiment is by Anna Griffin and I just inked a portion of it and used my stamp-a-ma-jig to line it all up correctly. The full sentiment reads: "a very happy birthday" ... but that wouldn't all fit in the frame!
On the Ruby Red cardstock, I stamped the Linen background using Ruby Red. On the sentiment portion, I stamped the Linen backgound using More Mustard and Ruby Red inks (stamped off first before stamping on the So Saffron). I was trying to mimic the linen pattern in the Daisy D's paper.

What an AWESOME card! The paisley goes perfect with the designer papers! And I really like the way you used your HpH. I never would of thought of that! Great job.

Friends are like the walls of a house. Sometimes they hold you up, sometimes you lean on them. But sometimes, it's enough to know they're just standing by.
