I'm posting this for both of today's challenges. Lyn has asked us to create an underwater scene with rays of light coming down and Lee has asked for dots. I have dots of water, very random, not perfect dots and I drew some clear dots of bubbles above the fish. Hard to see but they are there.
I haven't done any ink blending like this for a while so it was fun to revisit. My sun ray stencil has a solid sun so it wasn't hard to not get too much ink at the top. I mostly used tumbled glass, broken china, stormy sky and black soot Distress ink. I didn't do a lot of water droplets because I didn't want to over do it and I skipped the glimmer mist.
I didn't quite understand why she didn't like the fish that she stamped so, me being a contrary individual sometimes, decided to stencil a school of fish. I'm not prone to overthinking. I don't have many ocean/sea stamps since I live in the midwest and rarely visit the ocean. I've only ever swam in the Atlantic and not crazy about salt water. I'm a lake girl through and through. I like the sandy bottom, the seaweed, the clams, the minnows, everything about it.
Thanks for the two challenges that I was able to pair up!
