I'm not sure where I got the German ephemera from which I cut the eggs; might have bought it at a very cool creative store in Holland, MI. I cut out two of the egg shapes and mounted them on a store bought card that was made completely out of handmade paper. The little gold Easter greeting was cut from another, older store bought Easter card. My grandpa bought the card, which said 'Happy Easter, Sweetheart.' I guess he didn't buy it for my grandma and I don't have a sweetheart (except for my grands). I did brush a bit of old paper on the edges; I think I need to buy a reinker.
Most of the eggs on the two sheets of ephemera are narrow point down, which I find interesting. Not sure why they're that way. But they are charming and I can make more of these cards. Thanks, Julie!
