Sweet Polly asked me to be a guest designer for the MIX challenge using cardboard since she knows I am addicted to it, but I left for a crafting retreat, forgot my computer (I borrowed one) and totally forgot to post. Apologies, Polly.
This was super easy. I splattered watercolors on the paper, painted the cardboard, printed the sentiment (it was from the poem on the funeral program), and sponged around the dove (also from the funeral program). Put it all together and wrapped a ribbon around the cardboard. I am sending this to my friend who lost her father recently.
Grab some cardboard and come play with us.

Such a special card that you have put together!! Love that you incorporated the cardboard and dove. There is something wonderful about discovering and highlighting materials that would otherwise go to waste. Simply lovely!!
