Color Challenge 906: I am thrilled to host the Color Challenge for this week. This is the final one for our special Christmas in July month. The color combos have been fabulous and fun. For this last one, I give you a tradition combo of Real Red & Garden Green with Silver for some shine and sparkle potential. Dessert option is Christmas.
I used a new stamp set and die set so that was added fun. The sentiment I selected: Have a holly jolly Christmas inspired me to focus on the holly leaves and berries. I will also admit to listening to the Burles Ives song by the same name for added motivation. It is a fun, lively tune.
I stamped the holly leaves in Garden Green. The berries were stamped in Real Red with the stems in neutral Mossy meadow. The berries on the stems were die-cut and popped up. The sprigs were die-cut from silver foil and glued down just at the base so I could bend them up. The sentiment was silver heat-embossed, die-cut in a label shape with openings for the ribbon to thread through. The label was popped up and the ribbon wrapped around the panel to the back. I added a scrap of Real Red gingham DSP before attaching the panel.
Have a jolly stamping time! I look forward to seeing what you create. TFL
