I think that you are going to love working with the soft and pretty colors that Karen has chosen for us this week. I know I did! Dessert this week is scallops.
I pulled out a sketch I've used in the past and used a little less white and more challenge colors than I did last week white on white. I worked in a few more of the stamp set's images on the skinny Flamingo strip and before adding texture to the Soft Sea Foam piece. The bird and flowers were stamped with Mossy Meadow, stamping it off once on scratch paper before stamping my fussy cut image.
Thanks for taking a look. I hope I get to see you playing along with us this week!

What a lovely card, Chris. The layout is so attractive and the image is very pretty. I love the subtle stamping of the blossoms on the green layer and that pretty dsp on the card base.

Fabulous. Naturally, your main image is gorgeous and beautifully cut and arranged; but it's all those details you added that make this card so special. Love the extra stamping on the base layer and I LOVE the addition of those subtle blooms on the textured green layer. There are something about these colors that are both warm and peaceful. Perfect for sending a paper hug and message of support to a friend. Fantastic card.
