I don't picture Mr. Rogers living in a suburb or the country. I think he lives near the city, in a very diverse neighborhood, so he can reach as many people as possible. So I chose kind of a cityscape. I picture Brooklyn as a possibility. Or even Milwaukee. There are a lot of diverse neighborhoods with lovely, old houses.
I remember my younger siblings watching Mr. Rogers and I watched with my children. Love, love, love him! So much good he continues to do, even after death. I love Rebekah's VSN challenge about neighborhoods.
I swiped some ink onto the embossing folder and ran it through the machine. It wasn't dark enough so I added some more with a sponge. I brayered the sky, darker at the top, and stenciled a 'starry night' stencil with the glitter paste, sprinkling on a little dark blue glitter before it dried. I followed today's sketch closely, adding some simple strings of metallic floss and a postage stamp of a neighborhood instead of the circle. The sketch is so very versatile!

I just love this Jean. Love the glittery night sky and the colors you've used through out the card. Lovely design and use of textures. Thank you for playing along in my challenge.
