I wanted another go at this past week's CC-night of navy, cinnamon cider and petal pink. As I looked through some new stamps, I came across this one and thought it could work very well with those colors.
I thought the GinaK ep was close to the cinnamon cider. I used the SU inks to paint everything except for the flowers, which was a pink Kurataki wc paint. It's an interesting wc paint, almost acrylic paint like as it's think and creamy. It doesn't bleed very well and I thought it was a little too intense so I sponged some white acrylic over the edges of the flowers. I love how the bird turned out with the night of navy and cinnamon cider blending together (I really watered down those colors). I splattered some metallic paints in similar colors and added some fairy wings Nuvo Drops on the flowers.
This is also for today's FS. Mary Beth is the type of artist who I like to CASE. A wide variety of colors, images and styles is what I like best. I was influenced by several things of hers, no one thing really. Here is one thing that influenced me and reinforced that I wanted to use this stamp: All In for InColors by lutheran at Splitcoaststampers
There was also a scrapbook page where she used a photo of big pink hibiscus. That's what the big flower reminds me of in this card. Beautiful work, Mary Beth.

Your coloring is so beautiful and perfect, results were well worth the time you put in. The metallic embossed outline adds a great touch. Thanks for playing this week's challenge!
