This card is for John, who is on the road to recovery after a nasty accident. We were tasked with stepping out of our comfort zone, and watercoloring is definitely outside mine. The tutorials always look so easy, but not for me! This one was the exception:
I painted the trees and added some wash for the sky/ground, then stamped and heat embossed the car. I also added some white gel pen to the trees to give more definition and the gems to balance the composition.

Faith - those trees are amazing and I'm thinking you should be playing in all the Watercolor Wednesday challenges. The vintage car looks super tootling down that country road.
