Thank you, Julie, for selecting Ashley (amacy0411) as our newest Featured Stamper. I enjoyed walking through the gallery and chose Simple Joy.... I loved both the color, hue, and layout. Also the profound emphasis on the word, Joy.
I changed the color story, the focal element, and splattered the background. The star was diecut 5 times to add dimension.
Have a listen to Follow the Star for a wonderful retelling of the Christmas story. The YouTube bot would not let me link this video. Search for the Woodman Valley Chapel 'Follow the Star' from December 24, 2017. Promise it will bless you.
And congratulations, Ashley! Enjoy your Featured Stamper gallery. Thanks for stopping by.

I love that both these cards featured that giant word JOY. Your addition of the splatters and that glorious star is phenomenal. Love everything about this beauty and I'll be sure to check out the video. Thanks for recommending it.

I love your take on this card!! The star reminds me of the Moravian Star that my great grand parents would hang every Christmas…many many moons (or stars) ago 😊
