This started out as the SB Sketch Challenge for last week but it took a turn for a different direction. Oh, well. This was from last weekend on Father's Day. I wanted to do something different for the title. So I enlarged a photo of the strawberries and printed two copies. Then I used a stencil set for the words and layered them on the extra copy of the same photo. Every other letter is raised by using dimensional pop dots. I know it is very hard to read the strawberry title, but it was my first attempt.
The journaling reads: Picking
Strawberry picking happened to be an "extra" activity on Father's Day 2006. We were driving by Cider Hill Farm when we saw the sign for pick your own strawberries. We walked out to the strawberry patch and got busy to work. Of course for every two strawberries in the box we ate at least one. They were sweet and juicy. It was a very hot and humid day, so the strawberries hit the spot.
