I made this card for my best friend's birthday back in March. I took my inspiration from Yoko Ono, who has done a good chunk of work in all whites.
The background layer is dry embossed in a feathery pattern using Fiskars templates and their texture tool. I dry embossed some white CS in four different patterns using the Fiskars plates again, punched out folk heart shapes from that CS, and then applied liquid glass product on the hearts. I layered the hearts onto a thin, long layer of vellum using dimensional Zots, layered the vellum and hearts onto a stripe of white CS and a larger piece of transparency, and placed it on the background mat using two silver brads which I painted white using some crazy paint product i have.
This card was a challenge to create, and the transparency made all the difference believe it or not! She loved the card, which is very nice of her because she has taken several courses in art history.
Thanks for looking!
