Oh my, I could just do with some downtime in that hotel with plenty of good books. Christmas 19, DH gave me a Kindle with an eye to it being useful for our camping holidays, and I do read a lot on it but nothing beats real paper. My choice of room was Agatha Christie. She was probably the first detective fiction I read, I remember my aunt or grandmother giving me a hardback Miss Marple omnibus. Actually, though, she doesn't feature much in my collection - I think I have "The Secret of Chimneys" and the Mysterious Mr Quin, and that's about it - whereas I have the full sets of D.L. Sayers, Margery Allingham, Michael Innes from the Golden Age writers and am building the complete Ngaio Marsh collection on my Kindle.
A bookish background for all the murders committed in libraries. I worked in a couple of houses in the UK which had just such libraries - this one is a little more modern looking. Coloured the image with pencils. I added a grounding for Snoopy with an old paper bag. There is an even more Poirot-like moustache in the IO set of dies, but alas it was too big for Snoopy, I had to settle for this one. It's temporary glue, I might tuck the larger one inside for the recipient to try for size .
Added the question mark for clues. Hard to see, but it's popped up on foam.
Oh, I do have the complete Sherlock Holmes, too!!
