Elephants were what first came to mind for Lisa's MMTPT629 CHEER challenge. And then I realised that a square card would incur extra postage when mailed over in the US, so I sent that yesterday to someone else, but will pull another card from my stash so that I can send two to Send A Smile Today.
I made the square card first - coloured with Polychromos, Stickles on the bubbles. Found the dotted DP and then managed to rustle up something close enough for the scalloped heart. I crimped a strip of pearlescent cream card and added raffia over it.
For the second card, I always struggle with this rainbow because it doesn't have enough stripes, so this time I made my rainbow stripes sideways across it. There are Enamel Accent dots on the toadstool, I added SN clear glitter pen over the rainbow, a silver pen in the clouds on the stamped image, and a white gel pen to outline all the embossed clouds. I added an MFT grass border for my little hedgie (Cottage Cutz) to walk along. Image panel and sentiment are matted on silver card.

Such fun cards and clever ways to use CHEER. And, I applaud that you colored your rainbow to include all the colors. Way to think outside the box. I know both cards will bring big smiles; but, I must admit, my heart has a soft spot for that adorable blue elephant.

elephants are my fav. wild animal and this one is really sweet---I even one time years ago when all my kids were younger we had like a small carnival at the school and they pooled their money together to put their mother on a real elephant to ride and she kept turning her head to see me and I thought sure hope she was not going to grab and toss me off but just checking me out---and the guy doing ride thought was sweet of kids to pool their money he gave it back to them so was a win win for all. And you and I had the same idea for the rainbow---great minds think alike---sweet cards for sure.
