I love this stamp, each time I use it, it reminds me my father, he was a typographer and worked for the local newspaper.
I used a mosquito grid to sponge black through it and an alphabet stamp to decorate this card, the typewriter is in 2 layers to make it pop and layered with black linen onto white base.

Great arrangement of elements for your background. The typewriter sitting on the ink splat is perfect focal point. Love it.

Oh, what great memories this must have brought back. I think it would have been amazing to see a typesetter at work in the old days. Your inky looking background is perfect for your vintage typewriter.
