My favorite way to watercolor. A bouquet of fresh flowers on my kitchen counter inspired me. Did a light sketch before watercoloring....zeroing in on just a small part of the bouquet.

I am fascinated by the color combinations you put together and the unexpected colors (for me) like the tiny hits of royal blue - and while I might freely mix 3 or 4 unequal shades of green, I would never think to add the edging of pink . . .but I love that leaf! This is free-spirited and lovely.
