Carla is our hostess for this week's fun Surf and Sand WTUI challenge which you can find HERE.
I thought serene and peaceful and ended up light-hearted and fun. Stampabilities Surfinâ Snoopy, HA sentiment, Shore Thing for the sand (tea dye on white card sponged with antique linen. Snoopy coloured with Polychromos pencils, Glossy Accents on his shades and nose.
Background is the cloud ef from Taylored Expressions, blue card embossed, clouds painted with white re-inker or dotted with a gel pen.
Iâve made other cards with this stamp before and I couldnât decide whether to go with the Dâvine Swirl ef trimmed down or the lovely Memory Box wave border - so I used them both - embossed blue card and swiped with salty ocean, cut from white glitter card. Plenty of surf here, along with a line of Stickles along the torn sand edge.In hindsight I wish Iâd used glass bead gel. The crab and starfish are from Elineâs Collectibles, both cut from glossy photo paper with alcohol inks. I added an Eyelet Outlet shell brad, as well. Cut with an SB label die, cut another one by hand to matt it, and added it to a cream base stamped with more Shore Thing.

Great die cut waves! Snoopy is doing a great job riding them! Just hope the crab doesn't get his tail if he falls! Making the entire card base"sandy" is a great way to tie everything together.

Fun and Fabulous!! The layered die cuts are the perfect waves for Surfin Snoopy. Love your marvelous scene, the crab and starfish are adorable. Thanks for the inspiration and great sample, Sabrina.

An adorable card,Sabrina. Great filigree wave die for Snoopy to surf. Not only is that a great scene, but like the addition of the crab and shells as seaside elements.
