Angie is our hostess and she has a wonderful site for our Inspiration Challenge this week. I saw this and it reminded me of this Penny Black stamp I bought last summer, but hadn't used. I decided to make a Father's Day card for my dad. Using the MISTI, I stamped the leaf in twisted citron, crushed olive and then peeled paint. I used gathered twigs for the shadows and antique linen for the background and the script.

First of all, Amy, thanks so much for the warm welcome back! I'm slowly starting again, and it's wonderful to be back. I love this beautifully colored leaf, and the soft text background is lovely. What a wonderful card for the inspiration piece you chose! Your dad will love it! Hope you are staying safe and healthy! Hugs and love! xoxo
