I chose this photo for inspiration. I used some new items from the Greetery...die cuts and layered stamping. The brick dies were used to make stencils. Used those stencils to apply embossing paste to add some depth for the bricks. Colored the bricks with watercolors. as well as, adding more shading and details to some of the die cuts.

I was just trying out my brick die cut, and threw away all the little bricks. I think I should go get them. I love the way you did the bricks with paste and paint.....such a gorgeous card!

Simply gorgeous! There is something so inviting about an open window and this one is especially inviting with the eyelet curtain blowing in the breeze with a pot of oh-so pretty geraniums nearby. Love this wonderful scene with the window shutters and the textured brick work. You think of every detail Sallie and it really shows! ~Karen.
