This is for the WT64 Heat Gun Challenge and the Heated Pearls Tutorial. My inspiration came from a tool belt made by Shel9999 in the Leather N Lace section of the Dirty Dozen Gallery. After seeing that to-die-for tool belt, I went to look for those little tools she used, but all I could find was tool stickers, so I bought them and this is what I came up with. The Heated Pearls is supposed to look like sheet metal in a garage(??). I first brayered the white gloss card stock with Going Gray, and then I mixed a pearly colored pearl-ex with the glue. I made the peg board by drawing a grid on the reverse side and then punching the holes on the intersections of my grid lines. Then after critiquing this card, my 14-yr old son has come up with a "better way" to make realistic looking sheet metal -- so give me a few days here and I'll try and let you know how it worked!!!
