For Dina's Opposites Attract MIXed media challenge.
When I looked at the colour wheel this morning I was thinking of the violet/yellow-orange colours. But when I got home from work and shopping, and went to pull out the stamp I typically use for colour challenges, my eye was drawn to the TH butterfly, so I changed my colour scheme to green and red. And it's almost a one layer card, too.
Reverse masked the card front with a loosely torn square, stamped the Reverse Damask in the centre in mowed lawn DOX and stamped the grid in black.
Removed the mask, added some chunky white EP, which I allowed to spill out over onto the white area in places.
The butterfly was stamped in black on watercolour paper and embossed, then I coloured it with Brushos (scarlet, ost red) and added some gold Sprinkle It. I'll add a close-up in the challenge thread. Added some wire antennae.
Sentiment is a PTI set Cheryl gave me - I die-cut the sentiment twice and stacked it, coloured it with a clear glitter pen. Stamped the sentiment in white on black and embossed, tore the edges, went over them with the clear glitter pen and popped it up on foam.

Lots of pretty texture on this card, Sabrina. Your bg is lovely and a nice place for your butterfly (which is Gorgeous embossed and with gold flecks; so realistic) to land on. Beautiful scripture verse~
