What a hoot this was and what a ride I had.
First I spent nearly a day searching through all my stamps for a rubber ducky that I was sure I had, haven't found it yet. Then another half a day searching google images for a diving duck...no such thing apparently.
I gave up and decided to have a go at drawing said ducks. After several attempts I am reasonably happy with the result. I did find some water splashes on google images that I hand drew onto some scrap paper, I also drew the rubber ducks and the diving duck on scrap paper then using my light board I traced the images onto X-press it blending card along with the splashes.
I fussy cut the diving duck out and attached him to the card after I had put the top panel onto the bubble art panel. I already had the dp left over form the July 2018 Staycation VSN so perfect.
The sketch or layout is for the CAS Colour & Sketches challenge for hist week.
I cut out the hello die twice and glued it together then covered it with Versa Mark watermark and then covered that with the holographic embossing powder.
One thing to consider is holographic embossing powder in it's raw unheated state is worse than normal glitter, it is super fine and goes everywhere, if my youngest grand kids and great grand kids had turned up or even now they would be soooo impressed, grandma is covered in fairy dust lol.
Last but not least I heat embossed the there and mounted that onto some craft foam, I also mounted the whole of the front panel onto craft foam (love that stuff) and then applied the diamond glaze to the water splashes and there you have it.
Thanks for looking hugs Marg

Wow! Wow! and Wow! I am SO impressed with your hand-drawn duckies and this amazing watery scene you have created for them. With your drawing skills you could design your own stamps! The water looks absolutely amazing and sets a wonderful stage for your delightful duckies! ~Karen.
