I called this Woodstock!!!! because I watched the PBS documentary about those days in August, 1969. I was going to be a senior in high school, couldn't have imagined going to that and no way would my parents have let me. I was into classical, maybe some folk music, didn't even know who half those bands were. And the mud and lack of food and sanitary conditions....whoa...but I actually kind of wish now I had experienced it. And I do love the Joe Cocker song that is my sentiment. Anyone watch The Wonder Years? One of my fave shows ever and that was the theme song.
This is for today's sketch and yesterday's teaparty for Theresa, who could use some good vibes. I have been making gel prints so I used one (this is a secondary one) and stamped my 'build a flower' stamps. Put some dots of brown to define things a bit. Nice sketch, much scope for imagination. Peace, man!

gee ... haven't thought of Woodstock in a very long time. I was in my last year of nursing school, not much of a hippie!! Your card is gorgeous. I really like the definition of the dots, so pretty.

Oh wow, this looks beautiful Jean, what a lovely gelli print! I was a bit young for Woodstock but love my music & have seen a lot of the footage from that momentous time in history ~

I love it! But I prefer the song by the Beatles. I can't listen to Joe Cocker sing anything. What a perfect sentiment for Theresa. And a fabulous design with the groovy flowers!
