This is for Robin's fun Free for All challenge....red and green as the dominant colours.
I don't wish to alarm you, but I have a very, very limited supply of Christmas stamps. I thought this cutie putootie would be perfect to adapt for Christmas.
I had a lovely sentiment chosen, but I messed up her eyes big time. One eye was looking towards the south pole and the other eye was looking north. Sunglasses made with black micron pen solved the problem.
Working with coloured pencils on paper is great when you forget to add enough highlights. Use an eraser to remove most of the colour, then use a white pencil to cover most of the remaining colour. This result is harder to achieve on cardstock.
After fussy cutting and adhering her to the card with a glue stick, I realised my original sentiment wouldn't work, but I knew this sentiment would be perfect! It is old, lovely thick rubber and I'm thinking it might be Unity Stamps.
I cut one frame in white and one frame in black and offset them on the hammertone cardstock base. The black frame is the inside of an Adli coffee pod box.
I cut some leaves and popped them behind the flowers and sentiment. Thank you for looking and I hope you get a chance to join in.

Oh yes Ms. Susie you have created another amazing card. Agree with all the comments above, and you should create your own line of stamps. They could have numerous accessories you would create for them to wear, They would have names and their own personalities. Adding sunglasses to this chic gal made her sassy. Love all the details, headpiece, bling, greenery etc. You framed her perfectly!!! Thanks for sharing!!!

So fun, love that sentiment with her wearing sunglasses, that was a good save since her eyes were a bit wonky ;) the flowers are just beautiful, terrific coloring!

Another WOW! creation with a humorous but insightful story behind its evolution. To pick up from sistersandi's comment... "Dear Santa, I've been good all year no matter what the evidence might suggest!" LOL & TFS.

I love everything about this darling card, Susie! Your cute girl is so glamorous with her gorgeous custom headdress. I love the way you've placed your black and white frames in the design. The sentiment is the perfect touch. Brilliant! xo
