I wandered through the Bonner Christmas Wonderland site quite a while but finally settled on this ornament for inspiration. Although the ornament is a window scene it made me think of tags.
I punched 3 tags and sponged the edges with soft suede, Then punched holly & poinsettia leaves from cardstock scraps and arranged, centering all with tiny red gems for some shine. I tied these with embroidery floss to a small twig then hot glued to a sturdy piece of green corrugated cardboard and framed with a hoarded piece of cork. Since the ornament was graced with snow, I did a torn edge on some Christmas DSP, Sponged with olive and used it to adorn opposing corners of my card base. Attached my focal piece with double sided tape and done . . .

I agree, that inspiration piece did look like a tag. Your tags are so pretty and I like how you used the cork...been a while since I used cork. I love that vintage looking paper in the corners. It's all so pretty, Linda, and it looks like it would be fun to create.

Your little tags looks so pretty hanging from that twig! I love how you did the background with layers of cork and corrugated paper for texture. Great card!
