For today's TLC759, we are challenging ourselves to color an image with the coloring medium we are least comfortable with. For me, that's Copic markers. I have a lot of Copics, but for some reason, I can never figure out where shadows go (yes, I have taken all the classes!), or the best way to highlight -- and don't ask me to color anyone's hair! Give me watercolor or chalks, or anything else! But I love the look of Copics, and keep working on practicing small images. It just takes a lot longer than it should, and makes me uncomfortable. If you look in my gallery, you won't see a ton of Copic colored cards.
This turned out well - I especially like her neck fur, but boy, do I struggle with the "Is this ok?" angel/devil on my shoulder as I am doing it.
This little deer and acorn are from Sweet 'n Sassy's September release Fur-ever Friends. Cutest little woodland creatures and sentiments!

Sweetly colored! With alcohol markers, or any mediums actually, I'm always afraid I'll go just a bit too far and mess it up! Tim Holtz once said if you aren't happy with it, it isn't finished! I'm sure you must be very happy with this!

Your deer turned out very well with the copics Judy!! I think the image is so cute also. I love the acorn - I can't take too many fall walks without picking up a few. Thanks for the challenge. :>)
