I made this card for the letter M Alphabet Challenge. The M in this card is the Tim Holtz Mowed Lawn ink I used for the leaves. I rarely (never) make a one layer card, but the person I am sending this card to prefers one layer cards so this was my opportunity. I stamped the flower image and water colored it with Distress Inks. Once the image was dry, then I die cut a rectangle from masking paper and placed this around the flower image. Then, using Tim Holtz antique linen and tea dyed inks, sponged around the flowers and leaves. Removed the mask, then stamped the sentiment. Water coloring is not my strong suit at all, but I want to keep trying in order to improve. Thank you for looking today. ~Karen.
