It's time for a new Color Challenge and I am bringing you A Balmy Night with a Twist! Dessert option is to make an ocean scene or a masculine card, or combine the two if you like! For my card I chose to create an ocean scene.
The ink blended background was stamped with the sentiment and sailboat, die cut, then cloud dies and the lovely mermaid were adhered. The entire panel was added to the card base inside the navy frames. I intended to add some sparkle to the mermaid tail but forgot in my rush to catch the right light to photo my card.

Love the colours you chose this week, Stef! Your card is absolutely beautiful, such a calm, serene scene with the lovely mermaid perched on the rock watching the yacht. Love how you have done the water and added the fluffy clouds!

Just gorgeous is right! the coloring is so completely perfect (right down to the soft pink shells) it didn't need any sparkle. Such perfect layout and dimension, so inviting and I want to be there on a rock nearby. : ) enjoy your day and thanks for the nice comment on my card. I felt bad without the Balmy Blue, but I will get that too, soon. Teresa

I absolutely love this. Your mermaid is beautifully colored, and I love how the ocean and sky almost melt together, as it often does irl when there is a light fog.
