For the dog I used a die cut and cut out the dog from acetate. That was the hardest part of this card. Put the acetate over the white card stock and sponged the dog silhouette. Finished off with the sentiment and used some grey tones for the ground shadow.
I loved how these cards turned out so much that I went out and found some other dog stencils to make a few with other dogs.

browsing your gallery again today, wow, so many that stand out to me, but this is just so sweet and comforting message PLUS great shading / sponging, so realistic and immediate knowledge of shape by the shading, super, super job! so inspiring, one more technique I have never tried. haha my list gets longer. hope life is long enough to everything I see on this site. wonderful community of crafters that I am loving. thanks for comment on my humble Tea Party card recently.
