This is for two challenges today. First CAS531 Spring Snowdrops; and second TLC740 Merging Backgrounds.
I called this "Image of Hope", because after a long cold and dreary winter, I look at Crocus flowers as the hope of spring around the corner
My image is colored with Copics, and I added a snow marker and used a heat gun to puff it up. Not sure I like the effect it gave - oh well For the background, I used VersaMark on two different background stamps and just let the image dry revealing itself on the cs.

Beautiful! I wondered about a diagonal, now I see how well it works. I can't remember what put me off trying. And your crocuses in the snow are just charming.
