Stampin' Makes Me Happy, 2! Thank you Judy for bringing our attention to stampinhappy (Angie) today.
Her gallery is full of fun cards and exuberance. I enjoyed beginning at Angies' first upload and reading her comments...especially on the bleach techniques ones! It is exciting to discover something you didn't know how to do or construct.
It was A sunny thanks that caught my eye, as I don't believe I have ever used this uber cool EF. Angie's card was a great example of CAS even if it's missing white space.
I used the same layout and embossing folder. I changed from her sponged technique to using Rangers Mixed Media Powder, VersaMark, and Brushos. For the large thanks, I applied a VersaMark pen to the raised word and then sprinkled 'Fire'. For the rest of the card, I gently tapped the VersaMark pad on the raised words and sprinkled 'Punch'. Once that was dry, I used the Brusho's in Gamboge, sprinkling the pigment first and misting. Having begun with white paper, I love the yellow in the background. My trim is Vintage seam binding, a paper tab and one of Tim Holtz dimensional letters.
I want to thank Angie for the creative spark with her pretty card. Enjoy the cards made in your honor this week, stampinhappy.
And to everyone who takes the time to leave a comment, favorite my work, and read my rambles, I am deeply grateful. I am in a season of learning how to better manage my moments and I often feel far from the finish line...and for driven people...well, I just thank you.

Love your creativity using this ef. (Which I just checked to make sure I had it- a deal from last years garage sale) and have not used yet. Now, you have greatly inspired me to do so. I love all the different mediums you used to create a great ef. look. Well done! Also, the vintage seam binding is the perfect touch for this beauty!

Thanks for reminding me about this embossing folder. LOL! I really like the depth of the colors on this card. Your ribbon is rich looking. Love the added staples and the tag. Thanks for sharing!

This turned out just super cute. I love the way you popped the words with heavy distressing. That ribbon is right on with the style. It looks perfect with that grungy look. Great take on the FS card.
