I started with a mixed media background paper that came from a Stampington & Co magazine. I cut the top left corner portion of the full page so that the border trim lines made a natural corner frame. I stamped the musician from Visible Image in Night of Navy and random stars in Lucky Limeade, Turquoise Sea and the tiny stars in Color box gold. The narrow strip with the music notes was also strategically cut for the lines and the music notes stamped in Night of Navy. I decided to use the spotlight technique for this card and used a Prima circles stencil on the precut white oval using Squeezed Lemonade and Wild Honey distress inks turning the oval 180° and stenciling again before stamping the sax player in the same navy ink. Lastly, the word strip was inked and stamped 3x in navy ink. Taken with Teal is the card base.
