It's not what you look at that matters,
it's what you see...
What a fun, fun TLC, Sabina! I experimented with a couple of embossing folders and stamps before my third attempt resulted in this Paris Collage. I am happy. Thanks for the link to Frenchies' video. It was extremely helpful. I used DOX 'Old Paper' on the embossing folder and then stamped this marvelous Eiffel tower in Memento 'Paris Dusk' directly onto the ef. Ran it through my Big Shot. Trimmed the edges placed on my A2 PTI 'Dark Indigo' base. Stamped the Thoreau quote on black cs. I suppose I was asking too much to hope Henry David Thoreau's name would be visible in my embossing. Must get some super fine clear ef. Used an un-named Sizzix diecut which was perfect for the quote and popped on foam. Stapled 3 of the corners and here it is.
I will definitely be playing again. I love the look and I love Paris....
Thanks for your comments. I can't wait to visit the gallery and see everyone's take...

Beautiful collage look with your French-Paris theme...love the embossing folder look and the Eiffel Tower in the background. Great combination of colors!
