I needed some winter birthday cards and thought this scene would do nicely.
I sponged my night sky with my make-up brushes. They are wonderful for sponging. The large tree was stamped and the spiny trees are die cuts. The deer are also die cuts and colored with Copics.
I splattered on the snow with a toothbrush and Dr. Ph. Martin's Bleed Proof White. I used a white Jelly Roll pen for the white on the belly of the deer and the snow on them was also made with the same pen.

The whole scene is totally inviting but I must say I am most intrigued by the bare skelton trees - I've never seen any like that with the downward swooping limbs anywhere I've ever lived . . .

Brenda, I would have never guessed that there are die cuts on this beautiful card! The large tree is gorgeous with texture and color. The die cut trees and deer look fantastic, and the background is wonderful. You did a great job coloring the sky so it gradually fades into the snow. Love the card, my friend! Hugs!
