Lewis wanted to make something from everything - even the ads! Finally he picked a rose on something we saw but then we couldn't find it so we went back and pulled up these:
Before we got started, we took a break while he got ready to go to a Monster Truck Rally. I was watching his mother put on some make-up. She is a LimeLife consultant so she has all kinds of cool colors. She was putting on some CRAZY color of blush. I was shocked but after she blended it in, I wanted some! She told me one consultant inspired her to buy it and that that consultant knew everything about how the make-up could be used. I immediately thought that it would be a great color for the roses and told her I bet it would work and that the other consultant probably never would have guessed it would work on a card. Anyway, the make up is very pigmented so you don't have to use very much and it colors wonderfully. Lewis colored several of the roses with his finger - his are the best ones (really).
I made my wreath from the DRS Flower Cross. I stamped it 10 times and then colored it up and cut it all apart. I used the cross ends for the leaves.
I used one of her make up brushes to shade the bg - I didn't put anything on it but it had some leftover blush and worked well.
Many hugz
