I liked the snowflakes on green in this image here, but went with gold as my contrasting color.
BG: stamped and gold embossed snowflakes, sponged a variety of green DI ink, then stamped some of the same snowflakes in the darkest green inks, splattered with water/blotted, and splattered with gold color shine
White panel: embossed and matted in gold
Focal image: Die cut 2 snowflakes in gold foil cs, adhered together, adhered to a white panel
Sentiment: die cut in gold cs, adhered to white panel
This really is a joyful card Maura! The different shades of green are stunning and I do like the way you used the darker green for some of snowflakes. The gold snowflakes just jump out at you. A beautifully designed card.Maura-if you wouldn't mind could you email me your email address as sometimes the team can't get onto your posts here and find it hard to comment and if this happens I would like to email and let you know. That green background is spectacular! Definitely I have to get some more shades of green! The gold and green is a marvellous combination. The white panel holds its own against it and lets that beautiful central gold snowflake shine (quite literally!). I love the font of your die cut 'Joy' too!
