and Lewis flipped out when he saw it and said he wanted to make it. So today we looked for something to inspire him and this is what we found (by the way, Lewis wanted to make a card from every single picture on the website that we looked at - he was mesmerized - oh the heart of a 3 year old).
he loved the bears with Santa hats in the blog title and the third picture on the left (he really loved them all - lol).
Lewis flecked a bunch of paint with his fingers all over this paper and my computer and counter and his shirt (which was a designer expensive shirt so we had to take a break and rinse it off and do some laundry - I told him he is getting an artist smock for Christmas and I am ordering one right after this post). Then he sponged the puppy with some distress ink and then I masked off the puppy and let him sponge on some red on the stocking, nose, and hat. We added some Stickles - had to take a break to throw the top of the Stickles around the room and laugh. I embossed the Merry Christmas - Lewis held the heat tool (he is getting much better at that after a few weeks) and then Lewis used a brush to make some snow on the ground.
So fun. We loved the site!

Awe, Nancy. How wonderful it is to craft with little children! Lewis did a remarkable job helping you create this fantastic card. Love the doggie and stocking that he helped to color. Great card, Nancy, despite paint being on Lewis' shirt, your computer, etc. A wonderful time you must have had!
