I heat embossed the poinsettia in gold, watercoloured it with watercolour pencils, splattered a bit of red (I scribbled the watercolour pencil on my craft mat and spritzed it with water, then picked it up with a paint brush - it came out paler than I wanted), and mounted on fun foam on a gold card base with matching die cut sentiment. I used gold gemstones for the centre of the flower.
I decided to use my watercolour pencils because I hadn't used them for ages and then realized why - I find it harder to do good watercolouring with them than with my Gansai Tambi paints.
