I chose this fabric for my inspiration. There is no sunshine today, making it impossible to get a good photo - very difficult to capture the foil. Cut a red strip and attached two lines of think washi tape. Die cut and colored the holly pieces/ Die cut the flower and pine sprigs. Attached everything to a black mat and white base.

Beautiful, rich, and elegant! No, certainly no sun today, but it's a good day for making cards
I hope the wind isn't too bad over your way. Not too bad here. I had thought we might lose power.

Such a BEAUTIFUL, rich and vibrant card, P.J.! Love, love the shimmery red poinsettia and green leaves on the black mat...so LOVELY! Your washi with rhinestone stripe add greatly to the overall look! LOVE it!

Lighting really does make a difference in capturing a card - Your black bg here looks like a deep rich Navy - but whether black or midnight it propels that die cut bedazzled poinsettia to center stage.

This is so striking with the black BG. Your poinsettia is a really nice one. Seeing the dies that others use makes me wish I had more dies for poinsettias since I do make a lot of Christmas cards. But really, how many poinsettia dies do I need! I love the band of ribbon and rhinestones down the side of your card!
