My hands are very gluey; this card is very gluey.
Every once in a while, my flowery side comes out. I don't like to use 'feminine or masculine' because I think we've become too gender specific in our ideas. I actually prefer more simple, abstract or grungy stuff myself.
I used a gelli print I had stashed away. I cut four layers of the center piece and four layers of the words, which is why i'm so gluey. When I looked at the pictures I took of this card, I noticed how much like frosting it looked. All the texture of the acrylic paint and marks from the brayer makes it seem very much like a birthday cake, in my eyes. I sponged some cardstock with the cc so I could punch leaves and add trim at the top in bottom. The flowers are punched from another gelli print that used ai under the acrylic paint. Plugging away on these color challenges, my biggest challenge.

A lot of texture and detail on this card, Jean. Love how everything has a frosting feel. Great idea to cut the sentiment several times. Great card. Hugz
