This is for Sabrina's challenge and what a challenge it was! This is about my 5th attempt at getting collage stamping right. I love the end results, but boy did I struggle.
I frequently use 6 or 7 stamps on the one card, but that is to create a scene. Using 6 or 7 stamps to create a collage is soooooo different.
I pre-cut 3 pieces of card stock about 5"x7"each. When I know I'm going to do something messy I always cut extra cardstock for the left over ink, paint etc.
I stamped the Lavina Stamp eye first using Memento ink. I then did a quick dunk into a puddle of heavily diluted purple and orange distress inks. I hit all the pieces with the heatgun, then continued to stamp all the other images.
Even by my standards, these are too weird as a card, but I thought they would make cool bookmarks - hence all the ribbon. The little gift card came about because I kept trimming the collage until it looked right. I would have stopped at ATC size.
Tip: Buy seam binding, twine, ribbon etc in white or cream colour, it's quick and easy to dye. Smack a distress ink pad onto a piece of foil / mat, squirt on some water. Cut a length of seam binding, scrunch it in your hand and squirt the exposed part, then dunk into the inky puddle. The colour will be variegated because you only pre-wet part of it.
Copics colour up seam binding in a flash too.
Thank you for looking.

Wow, these collage tags are just gorgeous!! Over-the-top fabulous! And thank you for the tips on dyeing ribbon, seam-binding, etc. I have a bunch of old lace that is white or cream-colored; now I know what to do with it!

Ooh, la, la...some fabulous work here, Susie. Those are awesome bookmarks. Instead of reading, though, I would be studying the "EYE" bookmark. Another fab creation!!!

Oh Miss Susie you knocked the collage challenge out of the park. Great colors, super focal and nicely done adding the other stamps to create the collage. All of these work so well and the fun fibers on your tags really are the perfect finishing touch to the stamping.

Wow, these are all so very eye catching, wink, wink. So good to see your fabulous weird arty stuff back in the gallery. The gift card is my favorite, love the points of glitter. I also love the seam binding and fun fur on the bookmarks. They are all gorgeous!!!!

I love this! My daughter drew an eye something like this years ago and it's been hanging on my wall right behind my computer screen ever since. Recently Storm pulled it down and now I am not sure where it is.... but back to your project. I love the colors. You did such a great job with the collage stamping that it looks seamless. The collage doesn't take away from the eye which shows great talent!
