Anita (snietje) provided a marvelous technique for a book card for her Let's Take a Book Tickle a Teapotter challenge.
See here for the cover.
Followed Anita's template for frame and cover. Sponged gold ink on side of frame and splattered on frame front. Stamped the IO book bg on parchment and sponged with Distress inks to age. Stamped a 2nd image on white CS, fussy cut and colored some for book stacks. Stamped, colored with colored pencils, aged with Distress ink and fussy cut story book images and adhered to book bg on top of book stacks. Stamped text bg on white, sponged with Distress inks then stamped and embossed sentiment, stamped fairies in gray. Splattered on gold ink. Layered panel and frame on cardbase. Sized LOTV Story Time image to fit, colored with alcohol markers and colored pencils, fussy cut and adhered to frame. Had so much fun making this! TFL

Your book is so fabulous, Carla! Love all the work you put into this! And you used some darling pictures of great children’s books. Well, I still love Winnie the Pooh!
