For todays CAS challenge to use plaid. I've wanted this poinsettia die set (Spellbinders) for 3 yrs, but each year I waited too long to order it and couldn't find one anywhere. When I saw it online last week, I ordered it immediately - LUV IT! Die cut the 6x6 sheet of plaid then cut down to A size and the piece left over I cut to fit on this card. Die cut the poinsettia, shaped the leaves and assembled. Cut the leaves (dark green) from the largest flower and removed 3 petals. Colored the veins. Of all the petals & leaves with stickles. Die cut the sentiment (Tattered Lace Christmas). Assembled the pieces onto white base.

Isn't that always the way - you see something - and think "I like that and will get it later" - then you can't find it or its sold out - happens to me all the time. Lesson to be learnt here - get it straight away to avoid frustration. Love the beautiful tartan and the sparkly poinsettia leaves. Yes Christmas is coming up fast.
