Let me assure, when I did today's challenge I became more and more frustrated. And then I thought, all these kind stampers out here must have suggestions to give me rather than compliments. So suggest away. I want to learn. No compliments accepted this weekend...only suggestions, please.

I think Jen's idea is great. You definitely fulfilled the challenge. Using the image on vellum with silver embossing is striking. The cord would really make this pop.

My big stamp from Grandma's house matches this one...maybe I'll share it with you! I agree...put some silver in the ribbon and push it to the top a bit. I love the silver EP on the silver. This would make a lovely wedding card.

suggestion...hmmm, maybe go back to the garage sale and buy me something?... maybe ever so slightly put dtp the edges in silver...or one of your colors... I can't leave edges alone! I'm always putting color on them!

I must say you nailed the challenge. But I think this would really pop if you mounted the white on another layer - one of the colors in the bouquet - just a narrow margin (1/8" - 1/4").

I love the stained glass look of these flowers. I agree with adding silver cord and a layer of color behind the white to make the flowers pop more. But your flowers are simply gorgeous! I haven't played with vellum in a long time - I'm going to have to try this.

I like your choice of colors! Perhaps some shading would give more dimension, without taking away from the simplicity? I, too, think silver thread or cord added to the ribbon would help. Or perhaps just a bow without the ribbon running complete accross the card? ;)
