My card is done with watercolor Brushos, working left to right and using a cardstock vertical mask to shield the area to sprinkle each color. I did the "dry" method where I sprinkled the powder onto watercolor paper in the unmatted area; I removed the mask; I liberally spritzed with water angled to the left so that each color strip would not ooze too far to the right in the uncolored area. I dried my colored, wet watercolor paper and added star stenciling White Shimmer Texture Paste. My star stencil had blank spaces where I thought there should be stars, so I had to do a second run, adding one star at a time into blank areas to get the stars just where I wanted them. The stars really sparkle. . .sparkle doesn't show well in pic.
My card fits seven challenges:
#1. DD9ABC5E - Alphabet Challenge - 3/21/18. Color Letter E = Emerald Green, Double = use an envelope. My green Brushos is Emerald Green. My envelope is on the left inside flap, and will be used to place a graduation gift check.
#2. CAS487 - Clean & Simple Challenge: Water Works - 6/25/18. . .make a card using a water scene or watercoloring. I used Brushos watercolors.
#5. MIX275 - Mixed Media Challenge: Keep It Simple - 5/4/18. . .make a card using two mediums and two layers. Mediums: 1)Brusho powder watercolors and 2)texture paste. Layers (not counting cardbase): 1)Shimmer Gold mat and 2)watercolored background.
#6. USEIT2018 - Ongoing: Use materials and/or tools that are old and gathering dust for lack of use and/or new materials and/or tools that you've had but never used. My materials and/or tools are all new and I finally cracked the cellophane! My graduation dies have been in my die storage for over a year; I bought my Texture Paste back in January; and, my Star Stencil is new but over two years old.

I think this is just fantastic Carlene. What a great design using brosho powders in this manner for your bg. Your texture paste stars are super cool and look amazing with this bg. Your sparkly die cut elements add to the celebratory feel on this wonderful graduation card. ~Karen.
