Last night I spied the CAS challenge and quickly sat down to recreate a card intended for today's CYS, switching it a patriotic theme with Memorial Day in mind. While I'm remembering my dad today, buried in a military cemetery, I'm actually sending this card to an unknown soldier. I met a wonderful lady in a Facebook group who shared her grandson is a new US Marine ~ we exchanged addresses for card and now I'm sending this to her for her to send to him ♥
AND - Pansy is our hostess for the CYS this month and asked us to create a card with a mouse ... I have lots of those! I chose Harvest Mouse by @myfavoritethings and use a color scheme of red and blue to go with the white and Stars dsp. I added sequins and hope they stay on for the long flight to Hawaii ♥

This is a sweet little mouse and the blue and white stripes on the heart make a perfect Memorial Card- Tributes to your dad and to your friend's grandson.

Oh my gosh! What a perfect card for the new marine! Love that blue and white star paper behind the die cut heart! Love the bold red, white, and blue! Spectacular card, Kelly!
