Carla gave us a challenge to put a photo on our card. This really can personalize a card using a photo. This time, scanned my granddaughter photo. Using the Picasa photo editing changed it to a pencil sketching. Printed it on a texture paper. Colored with colored pencils. This is for her birthday card, she is turning 14. She use to love the spindles on our porch to play peek. This was fun to do, and will do it more often. TFL

What a fantastic creation...love what you've done to your darling granddaughter's photo...she will surely admire it and love the keepsake you have given her showing off her grandma's wonderful artistic talent! Great coloring, Linda...love the embossing texture...adds to the overall look of the card, yet doesn't take away from the outstanding photo!

Your card is so special, Linda, and a wonderful memory, also. Your granddaughter is sure to love and treasure this card.
